Keeton, 70, of Gardendale
Jimmie Harris Keeton, 70, of Gardendale passed away Friday, July 18, 2008.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 21, at Ridout’s Gardendale
Chapel with burial in Keeton Cemetery in Nauvoo. Rev. Thomas Graves will
officiate. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Sunday in the chapel. Ridout’s
Gardendale Chapel will direct.
She was a member of New Georgia Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Arlon F. Keeton; sons, Marty Keeton
and his wife, Teresa, of Gardendale, Dennis Keeton and his wife, Nellie, of
Trafford, and Terry Keeton and his wife, Jackie, of Gardendale; daughter, Pam
Cooper and her husband, Steve, of Mt. Olive; grandchildren, Jennifer White,
Dennis E. Keeton, Crystal Brown, Jonathan Keeton, Alan Cooper, Jason Keeton,
Trey Keeton and Bridget Keeton; great-grandchildren, Michael Jones, Reese White
and Emma Brown; sisters, Doris Ann Smyly of Gardendale and Shirley Lundy of
Morris.

Joyce Margaret Wells, 64, of Jasper, died Saturday, July 19, 2008, at her
residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, July 23, at
Collins-Burke Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Joy Cemetery. Jerry Burton and
Gary Salter will officiate. Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Williams; mother, Ethel Williams;
sisters, Shirley Alexander, Mary Frances Ethridge and Christina Jacks; and
brothers, Alton Williams and James Williams.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Ronald Wells; daughters, Debra Bartlett
Hargett and Cindy Bartlett Madison; sons, Timothy Lee Bartlett and Larry Brandon
Wells; sisters, Ruby Latham, Betty Lane, Rachaell Whisenhunt and Mavis Best;
brothers, Jack Williams and Junior Williams; seven grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
